Indian Echo Caverns
Yesterday we visited the Indian Echo Caverns right outside of Harrisburg PA located in the City of Hummlestown.
Cost: Adults age 12 and over $13.00 Children $7.00
Tours: The tour is 45 minutes in length and a guide accompanies you on the tour and gives you the history of the underground caves/caverns. It is open year round as the caves stay a constant 52 degrees so bring a sweater if you are cold sensitive.
Located on the grounds is an outdoor picnic area and a very large playground with a lot of things for children to do. They say they have a petting zoo on the property however when we visited yesterday they only had 2 billy goats out and 2 rabbits for the children to feed and pet.

They had a very nice gift shop with some unique gifts & souvenirs that featured items from the Caverns and also local Hershey souvenirs. Surprisingly, I thought the gift shop had excellent prices & I picked up a few mementos while we were there.
Cameras are permitted inside the Caverns, however I couldn't get any decent photos because I brought the WRONG camera along with me. However, the few photos that I did get are featured here in my blog post. We will be visiting again and a new blog post will be forthcoming with updated photos.
If you are heading to Hershey or Harrisburg Pennsylvania...make sure you plan an afternoon trip to the Indian Echo Caverns. The caverns are just breathtakingly beautiful and well worth your time and effort to visit them. We had a great afternoon and will definitely be visiting again soon.

We love caves! We enjoyed this one very much. Nice little story to go with the tour too!
