Looking for a great casual dining experience while visiting Harrisburg, Pennsylvania? If so, I thought today that I would recommend 3 of my favorite place to eat. All 3 of these places are very casual and welcome children. They are clean and friendly places that serve great food.
El Rodeo ~ this is our favorite place to get Mexican food in Harrisburg. At times they even offer live Mexican Music bands. We love their margaritas!
Hoss's Steak & Sea ~ Just as the name implies, they have great steaks and seafood along with a salad and soup bar. This place is very children friendly.
Longhorn Steakhouse ~ This steakhouse is located on the property of the Colonial Park Mall, along route 22, Jonestown Road in Harrisburg. It has a great family atmosphere and offer some of the best steaks in the area. There is plenty of FREE parking on-site.
Texas Roadhouse ~ This is one of our very favorite places to eat at! We love their steaks, ribs and especially those delicious yams! If it's your Birthday the staff will even sing a Happy Birthday song to you! They have great alcohol drinks too!
Panera Bread ~ There is a Panera Bread that is located right off Union Deposit Road in Harrisburg and we really recommend this particular location. The staff is friendly and you can get quick service.
Applebee's ~ We love going to the Applebee's that is located right on route 22 and it is located right near the Colonial Park Mall.
Outback Steakhouse ~ Our favorite location is right on Union Deposit Road and we love the staff there and the quick and clean service. Outback is one of our favorite casual dinning restaurants in the area!
Olive Garden ~ The Olive Garden is located on route 22 and is located near the Colonial Park Mall and the Colonial Commons Shopping Center. Love classic Italian foods? If so, the Olive Garden is the perfect choice for you and your family.
I will add to this list as I think of some other great casual dining places that we like to eat at.
