A few months ago we took a trip down to Cape May, New Jersey and visited the Sunset Beach area. One of the places we toured was called the World War 2 Lookout Tower and right behind the tower you will find the "All Veterans Memorial". (Note: You can click on the photos in this travel blog post to enlarge them to see details).From the road and the parking lot area you will see the World War 2 Lookout Tower which we walked around the grounds and behind the tower (not seen from the parking area) was this very nice All Veterans Memorial.
The parking is free and touring the lookout tower and the memorial are also free, so if you are looking for free or low-cost things to do down in Cape May, New Jersey...you will want to add this to your "must-see" list.
The day we were down there the inside tour of the tower was closed but even with that, we really enjoyed ourselves and felt it was worth checking out. Once you are done there you can do some shopping and grab a bite to eat a few yards down the street at Sunset Beach.
