Sand Dunes in North Wildwood New Jersey

Our photo for this week is a photo that I took while visiting North Wildwood, New Jersey back in early September of this year. If you love beautiful white beaches with several nice sand dunes, North Wildwood is one area of the Wildwood island that you want to check out.

The photo featured for our "Photo of the Week" was taken right behind the Hereford Inlet Lighthouse, while standing on the beach. This area of the beach is usually not crowded is a great area to sit on the beach and relax or walk the beach and enjoy the views of both the Atlantic Ocean and of Hereford Inlet.

If you are tired of the boardwalk, take a beautiful walk down the North Wildwood sea wall which runs behind the lighthouse and goes for about a mile. Hubby and I really enjoy walking both the beach and sea wall on this part of the island and highly recommend that you check it out.
