The Park Inn by Radisson |
The hotel is situated on 22 acres of beautifully landscaped land and is right off the Carlisle Pike which is one of the main drags/roads through the area. There is plenty of parking and if you need a rental car, they have those right on-site for your convenience.

Now for the things I didn't like. First, it was incredibly noisy outside since they had 3 or 4 weddings that day and many of the guests booked rooms. When I talk about noise...people were freely roaming around outside on the grounds...screaming, hollering, partying and all kinds of other nonsense. No one from the hotel staff did anything about it. Next, my husband and I retired to our room at 10:30 pm and were kept up until 5:30 am by the people who were staying next door. They ran in/out of their room, blasted the TV until 5 am and of course...did things that "adults" do while staying at a hotel.
We were NOT impressed with not having soundproof walls and being kept up until 5:30 am. Matter of fact, at 6 am we had enough, packed our bags and checked out due to the noise factor going on in the room beside us and by people clowning around outside & having a good time. Furthermore, when the hotel front desk was contacted about this "noise" issue, not a damn thing was done about it. A few days after we got home, I contacted the hotel about it through their contact form on their web site and was completely IGNORED. Completely and utterly ignored. Not a single response from them.
Our advice? It's a beautiful place to stay that is really clean. However, when making reservations I would tell them that you want a room that is quiet and not near any activities or "parties" that may be going on at that time. We were really disappointed in the NOISE and had to check out early due to not being able to get any sleep.
