Shopping at the Washington Street Mall in Cape May

The Washington Street Mall is located in downtown Cape May in New Jersey. It is one of those quaint outdoor coastal town malls with something for everyone. When shopping there...you will find your standard gift & souvenir stores, boutique clothing stores, the Five & Dime, jewelry stores, shoe stores and more!

After you done your shopping you can hit up one of the many candy stores, fudge shops, ice cream parlors, etc. or grab a bite to eat from the pizza shop, pub or from one of the many restaurants throughout the Washington Street Mall.

When visiting...often times you will have to pay for parking. There are nearby parking lots with parking kiosks and parking meters that line some of the nearby streets. Finding parking during the busy tourist season can be a problem, so try to visit the mall during off-peak season or during off-peak hours. Handicap paid parking spaces are also available nearby.

I love walking down the red brick paved walkway that runs through the center of the Washington Street Mall. In addition, I love looking at all of the cool victorian decor, the water fountain and of course that iconic Cape May town clock that is on display.

The Washington Street Mall in downtown Cape May is open year round. During the Fall season they hold events and all of the stores decorate in an autumn theme. During the Christmas holiday season, Santa visits and the entire mall is decorated in a beautiful holiday theme. This place is really magical!

If you are visiting the Stone Harbor, Wildwood or Cape May area...the Washington Street Mall is a definite must-see and must-shop location.
