Date Night Out to Arooga's Grille House and Sports Bar

Arooga's Grille House & Sports Bar has over 15 different locations across central Pennsylvania. It's a combination grille house (restaurant) and sports bar. During our "date night" out we visited the Arooga's location at 4301 Linglestown Road in Harrisburg.

We visited on a Sunday night and arrived at about 10pm. There were about 15 other patrons there, so they weren't overly busy at all. Our waitress was at our table and taking our order within 5 minutes of us sitting down. Gotta love quick and friendly service!

After we placed our order for soups and chicken wings...she brought us our drinks. While we relaxed and struck up some conversation with friends, we were able to enjoy 3 different baseball games that were playing on their large screen TVs.

Arooga's has a decent menu offering bbq wings, soups, salads, hamburgers, all kinds of different appetizers (french fries, onion rings, nachos, soft pretzels, etc.), boli, flat breads, cheesesteaks, pizza, pulled pork sandwiches, grilled cheese & tomato sandwiches, subs, wraps, brats, bbq ribs, fajita's and more! A lot of great selections for the everyone to enjoy.

When it comes to beverages, they've got your favorite soft drinks, iced teas, coffee, bottled beer, tap beer, whiskey, cocktails, ales, apple ciders and more. I stuck with a classic iced tea while my husband and the rest of our party enjoyed alcoholic beverages.

One thing that I learned during our visit is that you can place your dining order online (full menu online) and arrange to pick-it-up. In addition, they offer catering for those who are looking for that. Delivery is available for some of the Pennsylvania locations. If you're looking for a great gift, you can purchase gift cards too.

We enjoyed visiting Arooga's Grill House & Sports Bar and had a really nice time with our friends. All of our food was perfectly cooked and delicious. It was a great experience and we're looking forward to visiting Arooga's again.
