Gillian's Wonderland Pier and Amusement Rides in Ocean City

Gillian's Wonderland Pier is one of the largest attractions on the boardwalk in Ocean City, New Jersey. When you're on the boardwalk it's easy to spot...just look for the BIG WHEEL (Ferris Wheel) and it will lead you right to it. For those of you who need more specific directions, you'll find it located at 600 on the Boardwalk.

When I was a little girl my family headed down to Ocean City every summer. It was our annual family vacation for over 16 years. My brother and I looked forward to it every summer and one of the things we really looked forward to was spending an evening riding the rides on Gillian's Wonderland Pier.

Over the past few decades my family has built a ton of great memories when we've spent time together at Gillian's Wonderland Pier. It's nice to see that they're still in business after all of these years and now we get to build even more family memories by bring our grandchildren to Gillian's for fun!

You'll find a lot of fun amusement park rides at Gillian's for both children and adults. You can buy tickets and pay for each ride as you go or you can buy a wristband and get unlimited rides for the day. With that said, if the weather is touch-n-go, I recommend that you pay for the rides as you go along, in case they shut down for rain. If they do, they won't re-issue wristbands for the following day.

The park has been in business since 1929 and is open seasonally. You can find their complete operating schedule on their website, along with ticket information. The park is broken down into 4 main sections: indoor rides, lower deck rides, midway rides and upper deck rides.
