Family-Friendly Activities While Visiting Yosemite National Park

Yosemite National Park is famous for its amazing beauty and peaceful setting. Millions of people who enjoy being out in nature visit the park every year. The park is located in central California and is nestled within the Sierra Nevada Mountain range. During our weekend visit we enjoyed a few beginner hiking trails (both guided) and went horseback riding. Two of the things that we really enjoyed seeing were BridalViel Falls and El Capitan, a steep granite formation. The scenery throughout this national park is breathtaking, so make sure you bring along a camera! We also recommend visiting the Yosemite Museum so that you can learn about the history of the park and the surrounding area.
