At Root's you'll find over 200+ standholders, so there is something for everyone. Before visiting for the first time I recommend that you visit their website and take a look at the Market Map to get a layout of the market and you can see a list of what items each standholder has to offer. Some vendors are housed inside buildings, while other's are hosted outside.
On the day that we visited we experienced beautiful weather. It was a great day to be out and about in Lancaster County. While at the market we had the opportunity to try out some of the locally made foods which were delicious and reasonably priced. We picked up some household items that we needed and I picked up a few gifts for the upcoming holiday season.
When visiting we recommend that you dress appropriately for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes. You'll be doing a lot of walking and will be visiting vendors that are hosted indoors and outdoors. If its your first visit...we recommend allowing 2 hours in your schedule, so that you can experience everything that the market has to offer.
You can learn more about Root's Country Market and Auction by visiting their official website online. You can connect with them on Facebook and Twitter. Make sure you sign-up for their email newsletter (via their website) for specials and coupons.
