The Dock Raw Bar is a South American inspired fish shack style restaurant located in West Wildwood, New Jersey. It sits right on the back bay water where you'll be treated to some gorgeous sunsets in the summer. It's a casual-style place where shorts, tees and flip-flops are welcomed.
For those of you who aren't familiar with the Wildwood Island you'll find The Dock Raw Bar at 10 Lake Road, West Wildwood. They're open seasonally, so you'll have to check their
website and/or
Facebook page for their operating schedule. It's owned and operated by executive chef Andrew Steiner.
When you arrive you'll find a parking lot located alongside of the building. You'll see the signage out front which directs you to the parking lot and you'll enter the establishment from the back of the building. You'll see a very colorful outdoor wall mural on the side of the building that was painted by
DavidMacomber.com for those of you who enjoy street art.
You dine completely outside under a covered sitting area. They have a very limited menu but all of their food is prepared fresh daily. All of the fish & seafood is "wild caught" and they source the rest of their food from local vendors.
On the raw bar menu you'll find middle neck clams and oysters. three different Ceviche dishes, five different taco offerings, hand-cut French fries and beverages. From time to time you'll find additional menu offerings too. Like I said...their menu offerings are limited.
Since they're located on the Back Bay...boaters & fishermen can pull right up, dock and grab a bite to eat. Tourists and locals can walk or drive to the establishment and dine there too. On the day that we stopped be we grabbed our order-to-go due to the weather. Everything that we ordered was good and affordably priced.
