Throughout the cemetery you'll find various memorials and monuments that pay respect to our great men and women. Even if you don't have a loved one buried at the cemetery it's still worth the visit. It's a great way to pay respect to our heroes and to learn about the military history of our great country.
The memorial honors those who fought in the China, Burma and India conflicts during World War II, December 7th, 1941 through March 2nd, 1946. It honors the memory of all of the men and women who served our country during that conflict. On the side of the memorial you'll find a bronze plaque that reads "When you go home tell them of us and say, for your tomorrow we gave our today". Kohima Epitaph
